A six round CFC and FIDE rated Swiss

Feb. 6-8, 2016 (Family Day weekend)

 

$2000 Guaranteed Prize Fund

 

Where: Executive Plaza Airport Hotel, 7311 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC

 

Sections:  Premier (CFC and FIDE rated), U1900 (CFC rated), U1400 (CFC rated)

 

Prizes: $2000 Guaranteed

  • Premier:  $550 / $250 U2000 $250 Top BC player qualifies for BC Closed
  • U1900 section: $300 / $150 U1700 $100
  • U1400 section: $200 U1200 $100
  • Top Unrated (best score in any section) $100

 

Entry Fee:  $60 on or before Jan. 4, $70 on or before Feb. 1, $85 on site.   NEW $20 to play up a section if lifetime rating high within 100 points of section boundary, $30 if within 200 points of section boundary.   Discount of $30 to 2nd or higher family member.

 

Time Control:  Game/90 + 30 sec. increment.

 

Round Times:  Sat. 12:00 noon, 5:00pm, Sun. 12:00 noon, 5:00pm, Mon. 10:00am, 3:00pm
