When:  3-5 January 2025 

Where.  Cedar Room, Saanich Commonwealth Place, 4636 Elk Lake Drive

Rounds.  Friday 5pm, Saturday 10 am and 3 pm, Sunday 10 am and 3 pm

Time Control.  game in 90 minutes with 30 second increment 

Sections.  Premier and U1500

Prizes.  $2200 Guaranteed. 

Premier Section (CFC/FIDE rated): 1^st 500, 2^nd $300, U1700 $200, U1600 $200.  Winner's name engraved on the historic Victoria Cup.

U1500 Section (CFC rated): 1^st 300, 2^nd $200, U1200 $200

Top Unrated: $200, Top Woman: $100 (one prize, player can be from any section)

Note: unrated players not eligible for U1700, U1600, or U1200 class prizes

Entry Fee.  $75 on or before 10 December, $90 by noon on Wednesday 01 January.  No onsite registration. U1300 players may play up to Premier section if rated 1100 or higher.  Add $30 to entry fee.  Family discount $20.  First family member pays full fee, remainder get discount.

Registration.  Register Online:   Open to players residing on Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands.  Victoria Cup will be engraved with name of the top local player.
